Subash Menon: Founder Chairman, Managing Director & CEO Subash Menon founded Subex in 1992 and has been its CEO since inception. Under his stewardship, Subex has transformed from a Systems Integrator in the telecom hardware space to a leader in the telecom software space with a niche focus in revenue maximization. Subash charted Subex's growth from its humble origins as a one-man company to a global thought leader in the telecom software space with the successful launch of several products and with over 150 customers across 60+ countries in 6 continents. Subash also guided the company through a successful IPO in 1999 and through seven acquisitions. The latest one, that of Syndesis of Canada, was the largest overseas acquisition by an Indian company in the software space as on that day. Leading the internationalization of the company, Subash has played a key role in establishing offices in the US, Canada, UK, India, Singapore, China and Australia. Subash has over 20 years of experience in the areas of general management, sales and marketing. He has presented numerous papers on technology and business in various countries. Key Achievement: Founding the company with a start up capital of Rupees Twenty Thousand in 1992, migrating to software space in 2000, and growing revenue from US $1.5 million in 2000 to US $83 million in 2007. Subash was featured by the Economic Times, India’s leading business daily, under the category “Man of the Year” which was part of its 2006 year-end compilation of significant people and events. Sudeesh Yezhuvath: Chief Operating Officer & Wholetime Director Sudeesh Yezhuvath heads the overall operations of Subex, excluding the legal and financial functions. He heads all the three Business Units of the company – RMS (Revenue Maximization Solutions), FAS (Fulfillment and Assurance) and BT (British Telecom). He has been associated with Subex since 1993 and has been instrumental in building the software business of Subex. He has been closely involved in the company’s M&A activities, including the integration process post acquisitions. Sudeesh has over 16 years of experience in the telecom field and has presented various papers on telecom and business operations in different parts of the world. Sudeesh holds a B. Tech degree in Instrumentation and Control. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Subex. |

Anil Singhvi: Independent Director Anil Singhvi is the Chairman of Ican Investments Advisors Pvt Ltd. Prior to establishing Ican Investments, he was Advisor to Reliance ADA Group for about 2 years. He has over 30 years of experience in Corporate sector, out of which 22 years were spent with Ambuja Cements Ltd, where he rose from Manager to Managing Director & CEO. A Chartered Accountant, Anil Singhvi played a defining role in making of Ambuja Cements. Recently, he conceptualized and advised merger of Enam, one of the largest investment banks in India, with Axis Bank, a deal involving around US $ 500 million. He is on the Boards of various companies, some of which are Hindustan Construction Co. Ltd, HCC Infrastructure Ltd, Camlin, Mastek Limited, Future Capital, IDFC Securities Ltd and Foundation for Liberal and Management Education (FLAME). |
Sanjeev Aga: Independent Director Business leader, organization builder, adviser and mentor, Sanjeev Aga’s career has traversed 38 years, and sectors from consumer and services, entertainment and light engineering, to telecommunications. In a business career commencing 1973, Sanjeev Aga held senior positions in Asian Paints, Chellarams (Nigeria), and Jenson & Nicholson. In 1987, he joined Blow Plast to head the Furniture business, was made Chief Executive of Mattel Toys in 1990, and in January 1993 was appointed Managing Director of Blow Plast with multi-business responsibility including the flagship VIP Luggage business. In November 1998, he was appointed CEO of the telecom JV, Birla AT&T. He led the company through expansions, mergers and acquisitions to be CEO of Birla Tata AT&T, which was renamed Idea Cellular. In July 2002, Mr. Aga left Idea to be with the Aditya Birla Group, where from May 2005 until October 2006, he was Managing Director of Aditya Birla Nuvo. In November 1998, he was appointed CEO of the telecom JV, Birla AT&T. He led the company through expansions, mergers and acquisitions to be CEO of Birla Tata AT&T, which was renamed Idea Cellular. For 2009, Idea Cellular was named the ‘ET Emerging Company of the Year’, and for 2010, Forbes India magazine shortlisted Sanjeev Aga as a ‘Person of the Year’.
